Upper East Side sits on the east coast of South Florida, about 20 minutes north of downtown Miami and six miles from the Miami International Airport. This up-and-coming neighborhood was annexed to the City of Miami in 1924 becoming one of Miami’s first suburbs. The Biscayne corridor of Upper East Side is known to many as the MiMo (Miami Modern) District, and is rich with architecture, history and art.
