Coconut Grove is home to historic landmarks such as The Barnacle Historic State Park, located in the heart of downtown Coconut Grove and contains a 19th-century home and replicas of two Victorian sailboats, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, a 20th century subtropical-style Italian villa sitting on 10 acres of gardens with century-old plants, and the Kampong, one of the five gardens of the non-profit National Tropical Botanical Garden.
